Why Restorate?

September 07, 2015

There are several hydrating foot creams on the market. Dry skin and cracked heels are exceptionally common, particularly in the harsh, dry, Australian climate. As Podiatrists, we see and treat this condition everyday and understand the frustration that our patients experience in trying to maintain their feet.
What causes callus and cracks? Genetic skin type, hydration, skin thickness and wasting, friction, bony prominences and disease processes like diabetes or psoriasis can all play a role.

The creams that are currently available for treating dry feet are thick and greasy; users complain of an uncomfortable 'clammy' feeling with use. Restorate contains Shea Butter, Urea and Vitamin E and has been formulated to be a non-greasy yet intensive moisturizer. It is rich in peppermint oil and provides a fresh, cool feeling. It also has antifungal and antibacterial properties. The non-greasiness of the cream means it can be used several times a day if desired. The freshness of the cream makes it highly desirable!

Restorate - Good news for dry feet!
